The Sculpture Garden was fab. Evidence of art everywhere. The walk along Arkansas River & Park was memorable. The Clinton Library was impressive. On the whole there was so much history everywhere. The hotsprings & a traditional spa treatment must be experienced. It was an unforgettable experience. Enjoyed the food, especially the local cuisines. There were several clubs with live bands playing till early morning hours. Nightlife was just as good as day. The people were friendly & most hospital. One of my best holidays.
Arkansas hospitality is non existent. My 4th trip, will not be planning any trips to Arkansas. "Just passing through".
Eureka is by far my favorite destination city in Arkansas. The local restaurants never disappoint and our days are overflowing with beautiful sites and family friendly things to do.
Little Rock's RiverMarket area is amazing. Thriving with bar & Grill type restaurant, live music spilling over into the strip, people walking and enjoying the views. The Arkansas River is lit-up by the walk-able bridge that changes colors while you are walking it across. The Marriot Hotel and the State House Convention Center both bring so much festivities to the RiverMarket. The southern hospitality is also great. Did not meet anyone who was not friendly.
Love to show my friends Crystal Bridges American Art Museum and the Walmart Museum. It helps my friends to appreciate the beauty of Arkansas and also the hardworking spirit of the people living in AR.
Texarkana is not one of those places people go to visit on purpose, unless they have business or family connections nearby. There isn't much for a visitor to see or do except for the Perot Theater, other than the mild curiosity value of getting your picture taken at the courthouse with one foot in two different states. If you find yourself staying here for a few days and don't mind maybe an hour's drive or so, your best bet would be to head north to visit the nearby mountains in Arkansas or Oklahoma. At least there you'll find scenery, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and other outdoor activities like that, or you can dig for diamonds or quartz crystals. Texarkana itself has a reputation for good southern-fried catfish, especially at some of the smaller and lesser-known places like Doc's Fish and Steak in Garland City. But if you don't have time to make it out there, then Catfish King will do. If you head south a bit you'll find the Three State Stone where Arkansas, Lousiana, and Texas all come together, right beside TX Hwy 77. You'll also find some scenic swamp drives in that area (especially in winter) along Mirtis-Myra Road and others in the area - lots of cypress trees and Spanish moss.
Great restaurants and a very interesting place. We road our motorcycles in the North West part of Arkansas returning each night to Eureka Springs. The roads were second to none we have traveled, well maintained and built for motorcycles. We will return next year.
love Bentonville and the entire Northwest Arkansas area. Many things to do and see like the Amazeium , Crystal Bridges, trails and beautiful Beaver Lake. Many breakfast places like IHOP, Crackerbarrel and Dennys to super lunch from places like McAlisters Deli and so many choices for evening meals! Steaks, fine dining, buffets, from many national known restaurants and some unique or special dining experiences throughout the city.
North Little Rock has the advantage of the superb Arkansas river trail. This is a nice stroll over the two foot bridges, or a more involved cycle ride around big Dam Bridge. The McCain mall was OK, not very big, but NLR isn't a hugely populous area. Transport is great and the general ambience is relaxed and happy.
I travel a lot (I have been around 80 countries) almost six months a year. It was my first time in pretty Arkansas. This hotel is one of the best ever (on the world). Fantastic!! I liked everything. The staff was amazing, such wonderful ladies; everyone. The room is big, comfortable, clean, very well equipped, beautiful. Bed, shower, refrigerator, TV, everything was great. The breakfast was abundant and tasteful. The lobby is nice. They even have a basketball court. Location is perfect, the area is safe. I enjoyed so much; thanks!!
New hotel right off the interstate. Plenty of restaurants located around the hotel so we didn't have to go far. One thing we didn't realize when we booked was that West Memphis was in Arkansas. We chose this area so we were ready to head north on the interstate in the morning vs driving through Memphis morning rush hour which was perfect. We felt very safe staying here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed talking to the breakfast lady who was very upbeat. Highly recommend this hotel.
This was my first time at this Hotel/Arkansas. I enjoyed my stay and the humans that worked the front desk. I had several interactions with them in my two days/ one night stay and everytime I felt welcomed. Truly accommodated. I had to ask for an earlier check in time due to my early flight in and poor planning, it wasn’t at all an issue for them which I appreciated so much. This location is right across from a Walmart and I’m walking distance, if you choose to a few places which I enjoyed.
I have stayed in many different hotels in Fayetteville, visiting my daughter at U Arkansas, and this is hands down the best hotel experience I have had there. The room was spacious, comfortable bed and everything was quite clean - all for about what I paid for much less comfortable/clean rooms elsewhere. It's also conveniently located by all the big box stores to furnish/decorate/set up dorm room. (Plus there is amazing thrifting near by if you're into that sort of thing!)
The property is surrounded by beautiful trees. It’s very beautiful there and there’s so many places that you can eat that are very nearby. There’s a Walmart in Starbucks across the street everything about this hotel. I loved my cousins recommended it for me I came to visit my family from California and I can’t stop gushing about it and I’ll be back in two years and I want all my family to stay there. This is only Hotel that I will ever stay-in when I come to Little Rock Arkansas.
Good location for other trips I had to made in Arkansas. The ladies at the reception/breakfast area were all beyond nice and welcoming and super sweet. Breakfast was ok, not fancy but enough for me start daily 7hr trips from and back to the hotel. Has smoking rooms Has a fridge and microwave. Free parking in front of the rooms. Minutes away from restaurants and the national park.
Everything in the Basin park was perfect and exceeded our expectations. This was our first visit to Arkansas state and the hospitality received was amazing. The staff were so friendly helpful and accommodating. The activities at the hotel were too good. Even though parking was not onsite, the shuttle facility was so convenient and pickup/drop service are provided until late night.
We didn't eat breakfast but the location of the hotel was excellent! Close to great restaurants, service stations, grocery and convenience stores. Also close to the attractions we came to see: Concert at Simmons Bank Arena; Museum of Discovery; Arkansas Zoo and the Fairgrounds where we attended the State Fair. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again! 😀
NOTHING!! We never got a chance to stay at the property. When we arrived 3/31/23 a EF3 tornado 🌪 had hit Little Rock Arkansas and there was no power at the hotel. The property manager instructed us ( me and my daughter with grand children) to cancel our rooms. To get refunded. We had 2 rooms reserved .And we still HAVE NOT gotten REFUNDED our money
Lonoke
I've stayed in almost every hotel in Lonoke Arkansas, and Days Inn has exceeded my expectations. The beds were super comfortable (my body would hurt every morning at other hotels in the area but not at Days Inn) and customers service at check in was exceptional. Breakfast was also great and coffee too. This would be my go to Hotel everytime I go visit my dad.
If you check the records of my stays at this hotel. You will find that I have been staying here for years when I come to Arkansas. Lately, there is a young Latina girl there working at the front desk who is arrogant and dismissive. I think she will be the cause of many of you out-of-town guests moving to find more service-oriented hotel staff and other hotels.
I had a beautiful room, with a comfortable bed. There was a delicious breakfast, with a wide variety, to choose from. I was there to attend the Chicago concert, which was next door. There were some nice restaurants to explore, close by, too. I did some other things, in NW Arkansas and the interstate approach was near by, so this hotel was a wonderful location.
The beds, breakfast, and I really like the big pump bottles in the bathroom. That's convenient. Staff told us about the Arkansas Derby. We went and had a blast. Thank you. If I travel I will definitely stay with Hampton Inn again. I booked through booking. Com. I'll call the hotel myself to book to see about getting a senior discount. Thank you all..
The room overlooked the highway so noise was somewhat of a factor but everything else was great. The room was clean and well furnished and had plenty of room to store our bikes. Except for the weather becoming stormy, we had a great stay in Arkansas. Will stay again the next time we come down.
Have stayed here for 16 years since it opened. Come down to NW Arkansas each year for Mother's day week. Nice hotel, good location, close to the interstate and many dining options. Pinnacle Promenade shopping area is only a mile east of the hotel. Staff is friendly and kind hearted.
Hotel is in a good location with easy access to the city. Take the free tram ride around the town and hop on and off at the various attractions. Historic Arkansas museum is worth a visit, I would recommend the Museum of Fine Arts. It also has a very good restaurant.
This hotel is in an excellent location to explore NW Arkansas. It was much nicer than I expected with a large, clean and comfortable room. Beds were very comfortable and it was quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
It was convenient to where I needed to be. I was there for a family funeral. The staff was friendly. The lobby was great for several of us cousins to get together and visit the night before the funeral since we live in Arkansas, Louisiana and Tennesse.
The beds and location. Plus restaurant Camp Taco (walking one block north of the hotel) where you can have good food! Also very close (by car) to the WJ Clinton Presidential Library and the MacArthur Military Museum and the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art.
My first (of many!) hotel stays in Arkansas/Missouri that has met expectations. In fact, exceeded expectations! Ownership/Management is professional & Staff is outstanding. The only hotel I would recommend to future guests in NWA.
